Just imagine the world of creative decorations you can add to make that cake even more special. Customize any cake quickly and easily for themed parties and more! There are plenty of fonts and Cricut Cake cartridges available as well from flowing cursive script to calligraphy and fun lettering. It doesn’t take much experience to decorate a cake with this machine, just an imagination! The Cricut Cake Basics cartridge comes packed with the machine. This cartridge has all kinds of perfect designs for decorating cakes from birds and flowers to hearts and many beautiful flowing designs and accents.
How To Use The Cricut Cake Machine
Wondering how do I use the Cricut Cake machine? It couldn’t be easier, just take your cake cutting mat, either one of the Cricut Cake cutting mats or a traditional Cricut Cutting mat with all the sticky paste taken off (you can do this easily by using a little nail polish remover and warm water and rubbing it down in the sink) and lay the gum paste flat. Dial in your designs, and push cut. It will cut your cake designs just like a regular Cricut Expression machine will. A nice trick is using multiple layers of gum paste on the Cricut Cake cutting mat. Cut a nice deep design, and you can then pull the pieces up to make 3d effects that pop out of the cake!
Keep your Cricut Cake Cutting Blades Sharp!
Since gum paste is a little sticky, you are going to want to make sure your cutting blades are as sharp as possible on your cake cutting machine. It’s always good to have an extra set of Cricut cake replacement blades in case you need to make a quick swap in the middle of your project.
We think the new Cricut Cake machine has a lot to offer to already established cake making businesses, but also will open the way for creative people to start their own cake making and decorating business to make money at home easily and enjoyably!
Stay tuned as we keep you updated on this exciting new device. We will be posting all the Cricut Cake sales, discounts, and deals we can find to help get you started for as little as possible!

This new machine is great. Linda McClure is the one who invented this technique and presented it to Provo Craft. They made the modifications she suggested to come up with the Cricut Cake machine. See more of her cakes at http://www.creativedesignscakes.com
